Minnie Schultz was born on July 15, 1877. On February 2, 1896 she married Herman H. Ollenburg. They farmed north east of Garner until 1928 when they moved Garner. Heram and Minnie raised four sons, Arthur, Emil, Almer and Herbert. Minnie passed away October 12, 1956 and is buried at St. John's cemetery Garner.

Wilhelmina Pauline Schultz, the daughter of Lewis and Caroline Schultz, was born on July 15, 1877, near Joliet, Ill. She came to this community with her parents as a girl, and she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. John's Lutheran church on Nkovember 1, 1881.
On February 18, 1886, she was married to Herman H. Ollenburg at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Garner, the first couple to be msrried in the then newly organized church. Mr. and Mrs Ollenburg observed their 60th wedding anniversity this past February and were members of the North Iowa Golden Wedding club.
The couple lived on a farm six and a half miles northeast of Garner until retirement to their present home in Garner in September of 1923.
Mrs Ollenburg was a charter member of the Ladies Aid Society of St.John's Lutheran church
Mrs Ollenburg was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Arthur on Sept. 6, 1925, and Almer on Nov. 5, 1921. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Emil C.Ollenburg, Ventura, and Herbert L. Ollenburg, Garner, four grand children and four great grandchilddren.
