Emil Carl Ollenburgh, the son of Herman and Minnie (Schultz) Ollenburgh was born September 5, 1899 on the home farm near Ventura. He was baptized October 1, 1899 and confirmed March 16, 1913 at St. John's Lutheran Church. He attended school at St. John's Lutheran school and at the public schools in Hancock County. August 31, 1922 he married Olga Boehnke of Garner. They farmed near Ventura on the home place until they retired in 1970 and moved to Clear Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Olga, of Clear Lake; his daughter Darlene (James) Wolfram; his son Robert (Elaine) Ollenburgh of Ventura; his brother Herbert and wife Ruth of Garner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Arthur Ollenburgh and Elmer Ollenburgh.
