BAXTER -- Funeral services for Linda Jerrell Dunson Blair, 62, of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday, July 13, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Cookeville Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Family will receive friends today, Monday, July 12, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Blair died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at her home.
She was born Dec. 21, 1947, in Putnam County to the late Ernest and Dee Thomas Dunson.
Mrs. Blair was a member of Bussell Church of Christ. She earned a certificate in X-ray technology from the Mid-State College of Medical Arts with honors in 1962. She was also a member of the National Beta Club. She went on to earn her state laboratory supervisory license and was a laboratory supervisor for many years at Carthage General Hospital before becoming disabled.
Her family includes her husband, Steve (Tic) Randall Blair; a daughter, Tracy Brown of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Sheri Burton of Cartersville, Ga.; three grandchildren, Lance and Bradley Brown of Baxter and Kaitlin Burton of Cartersville; a great-grandchild, Troy Brown of Baxter; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Ronnie Nabors; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Pam Dunson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blair was preceded in death by her grandparents, Samuel and Cordie Herron Dunson and Henry and Martha Mills Thomas; a sister, Onita Rutherford; and one nephew, Chad Nabors.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Wasson, Andy Rutherford, Chase Winningham, Trisan Nabors, Jeff Winningham and Billy Wayne Blair.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
Bro. Denton Ramsey will officiate the services.
