Funeral services for Curita S. Comeaux, 90 was held at 10 a.m., Monday in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, Louisiana.

Deacon Jim Cormier conducted the servics.

Curita, a resident of Church Point, died at 10:45 a.m., Thursday, August 9, 2001, in Acadia St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point.

Survivors included: a son Jasper Comeaux of Merkel, Texas, a daughter, Emma Lou Tomlinson of Florida; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Curita was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Comeaux; her parents, Emar and Valentine Savoy, a daughter, Lucy Barousse; and two sisters, Mrs Steven (Emerita) Smith and Mrs. Simon (Laurence) Miller.

Duhon Funeral Home of Church Point was in charge of arrangements.
