Obituary
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Berchmans Roman Catholic Church in Cankton.
Jeston passed away at the age of 74 at 10 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2004 at his residence in Cankton.

Interment was at St. John Berchmans Cemetery in Cankton, Louisiana.
Reverends Henry J. Broussard, pastor of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church and Aubrey Guilbeau, nephew of Jeston and pastor of Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Lake Charles, Louisiana con-celebrated the services.

Musical selections were provided by Valerie Andrus. The songs were "Here I Am Lord", "How Great Thou Art", "Be Not Afraid", "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Isaiah 49".

Jeston was a native and lifelong resident of Cankton. He was a retired farmer and had worked in the oilfild for Central Industries in Scott for many years. Jeston was a parishioner of St. John Berchman Catholic Church.

Suviors include his loving wife, Betty Lou Boudreaux Savoie, of 44 years and caretaker for the past 4 1/2 years,
