CANKTON ~ Graveside services will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in St. John Berchman Roman Catholic Cemetery in Cankton for Louise Boudreaux, age 87, the former Louise Savoie, who passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
The Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Boudreaux was a native and lifelong resident of Cankton. She was a parishioner of St. John Berchman Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
Survivors include one son, Darrell Boudreaux and his wife, Bonnie, of Cankton; one daughter, Debbie Boudreaux of Gulf Breeze, FL; two grandchildren, Martine Flake and Bella Flake; one brother-in-law, Argie Guilbeau; and one sister-in-law, Betty Boudreaux Savoie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashton Boudreaux; one grandson, Eddie Boudreaux; her parents, Eddie Savoie and the former Bella Simon; two brothers, Ulysse Savoie and Jeston Savoie; and two sisters, Theresa Savoie Guilbeau and Edise Savoie LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and will continue from 10:00 am until service time on Sunday.
