Services for Louis Doga Held in Church Point
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Church Point for Louis Doga, 73, who died Wednesday afternoon in an automobile accident.
Burial was in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Doga was a former resident of Rayne and was well know here.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mavrie Seaux of Duson; five step-sons, John Luther and Andrew Myers both of Lafayette; Albert and Kerney Myers both of Rayne, Harry Lee Myers of Scott; two daughters, Mrs. Mervin (Rena) Guidry of Lafayette and Mrs. Hilary (Rose Nell) Touchet of Scott; two step-daughters; Mrs. Myrtline (Enola) Thibodeaux and Miss Mary Lou Myers, both of Lafayette; one brother Easton Doga of Church Point; two sisters, Mrs. Ellie Gautreaux and Mrs. Clemence Doga, both of Lafayette; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild.
He was the son of the late Leon Doga and Felitia Alleman.
He lost ins life in an automobile accident near Lafayette, Wednesday.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro was in charge of arrangements.
