Clyde (JMA #M61611) was the son of Adam Becker and Emma Hogue Becker. He married to Bessie Gray on 4 June 1912 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At the time of his marriage, he was a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and of the American Institute of Mining Engineers. During World War I, he was a First Lieutenant of Engineers. After his discharge from service, he became Camp General Secretary of the Army Young Men's Christian Association at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
