Mrs. J. Russell (Susan) Albert, a well-known resident of this community, died Sunday afternoon at her home. 144 W. Long Ave., after an extended illness. She was born Oct. IO, 1872 in Brisbin, Pa., the daughter of David and Eliza (Hawthorne) Swift, and was married to J. Russell Albert who died Dec. 8, 1950. Mrs. Albert was active in the affairs of the United Presbyterian church for many years. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Edna Hutton, of DuBois; three granddaughters and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Albert was the last of a family of nine brothers and sisters. A son, Carl, preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1933.
