James (Jimmie)R. Beale was the son of Robert Terrill Beale and Nancy McKinsey. He was the brother of Lucy Ella Beale Smith Hawkins and William Jefferson Beale. The graves of James and William Jefferson Beale are close to the graves of their parents and sister that are very near the present day fence that divides cemetery from the lake.

He attended Add-Ran college at Thorp Springs, Texas (Add-Ran College later was joined in with Texas Christian University.

He married Eliza Jones. Their children were: Elva and Goldie (who both died young), Lillian (Mrs. Clarence Patterson), Robert (m. Clara McDaniel), Ione (m. Delos Cates and Ben Hodge), Jerome K., George Ella (Mrs. Lloyd Smith), and Jim (married Ava Matthews).

All of these were buried in Little Elm Cemetery.
