"Eleanor Hinshaw was born January 27, 1827, died at her daughter's Mrs. Charles Edmonds, November 23,1909, age 82 years, 9 months and 26 days. She married in 1842 to Mr. Robert Sinclair. There were born to this union four children, one of whom is living. She was a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were held at Mrs. Chas. Edmonds' home November 24 conducted by Rev E.E. McAferty. She was buried at Wild Horse Cemetery by the side of her sister, Mrs. John Millikan (Anna Hinshaw), 9 Jan. 1836 - 15 Dec. 1904)."[c]
