Lydia Ann Wallis was born in San Antonio, Texas to Daniel Boone Strelsky and Lydia (Stanislaw) Strelsky. She was raised in Rockdale and graduated from Rockdale High School in 1962. On January 10, 1975 she was married to Jimmy Wallis in the First Christian Church in Rockdale. Ann died on a Thursday at the Scott and White Hospital in Temple having reached the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, her parents, and a brother, Duane Strelsky. She was a housewife and caretaker for elderly patients after her children were raised. Graveside services were held Monday, February 4, 2013 with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. Jimmie Hinistroza officiating.
