Mrs. Collins was born on April 27, 1935 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Herman Edward Smith and Rosie Cline Smith.
A retiree of The Arrow Company and Member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Collins, four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by a sister, Dot Smith of Bremen; brothers, Robert Smith and Freddie Smith both of Buchanan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 30, 2010 between the hours of 5 & 9 pm.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2 pm from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen with Reverend Wendell Rush and Reverend John Lemmings officiating. Mike Smith, Gary Smith, Dobbie Smith, Dennis Smith, Andy Smith, Casey Smith, Sidney Meeks and Danny Smith will serve as pallbearers. Jack Griffith, Ludie Griffith, Jamie Fitzgerlad, Greg Walker & Eric Smith will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Corinth Church Cemetery.
