ASHLAND - Velma Jean Lundell, 74, of Ashland, died unexpectedly Monday at Kingston of Ashland.
She was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Seneca County to the late Carl M. and Goldie May (Karrick) Seville. After her mother's death, she was raised by Carl and Blanche Seville.
She is survived by her daughters and a son-in-law, Tonya "Toni" Hildebrand of Ashland and Roxanne and Keith Henry of Torrance, Calif.; sons and daughters-in-law, Jon and Carol Lundell of Ashland and Jack and Tina Lundell of New London; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Charlton "Lee" and Jetty Seville of Sandusky and Donald "Gerald" Seville of Bucyrus; a sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Donald Baker of North Fairfield; stepsisters (half sister), Dorothy "Dimples" (Richard) Stephens of St. Augustine, Fla. and (step sister) Mary "Jo"
Gooding of Attica; and stepbrothers, Walter Paull and Richard "Max" Paull, both of whose whereabouts are unknown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Lundell; a brother, Howard Seville; and a stepbrother, William Paull.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin St., Attica. The Rev. Kenneth Gifford will officiate.
