Lee Seville's Obituary:
Charlton Lee Seville, Sept. 10, 1917-Aug. 10, 2011 Charlton Lee Seville went peacefully home on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at his home with his daughter Shelique D. LaCovey and grandson Rusty Seville by his bedside after a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 10, 1917, to Carl and Goldie Seville. Lee worked for Detroit-Pittsburgh Steel and Ohio Road Paving Co., and was still working into his 80s at Great Lakes Tires. He was a Cleveland Indians fan and even celebrated his 80th birthday at a home game with his daughter, Shelique, and grandson, Rusty, with the Happy Birthday intermission ad displayed at the game. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and “great” described this unselfish, incredible man who will be missed by all. He is survived by his children, Nancy (Corky) Taylor of Sebring, Fla., Barb (Alan) Potts of Shelby, Dixie (Dave Darr) of Clyde, Carol (Rich) Kubitz of Sandusky, Bud (Debora) Seville of Sandusky, Ron (Judy) Schoenegge of Naples, Fla., Carole (Rich) Kubitz of Sandusky, Tecca (Roger) Fox of Sandusky and Shelique LaCovey of Sandusky; 24 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma Baker of North Fairfield, half-sister Dimples Stephens of St. Augustine, Fla., and step-sister Mary Jo Gooding of W. Palm Beach, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl, Goldie, and step-Mother Blanche Seville; brothers, Gerald Donald and Howard Seville and step-brothers Max, Bill and Walter Paull; one sister, Velma Jean Lundell; three grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. During the last week of life, he got to enjoy visits and spend time with four of his great-great-grandchildren, Zachary, Helena, Sebastian and Austin, which will be precious memories for them for the rest of their lives. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Services. Condolences may be shared at grofffuneralhomes.com

Charlton Seville, called Lee by all those who knew him and Papa by his great-great-grandchildren Zachary and Helena Seville, was not buried in Huron or anywhere else. He was cremated and was supposed to have been buried with his wife Jessie, also known as Bena. His ashes are at my home. We--Zachary, Helena, and I--plan to get a biodegradable urn and plant a tree in our yard. He was exceptionally close with Zachary, who used to sit on the arm of Papa's chair and play his GameBoy and watch westerns. While the memorial marker is there, he is not.
