Frances Ellen Beatty, 76, 1118 S. Courtland Ave., died at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1981

Born in Rossville Feb. 5, 1905, she was a daughter of Ben and Lorena (Johnson) McAninch. She was married Feb. 5, 1922, to George Beatty, who died June 25, 1979.

She had been employed in the grind department at Haynes Stellite Co. and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are four sons, George Beatty of Brownsville, TX, Doyle Beatty of Middletown, IL., William Beatty of Washington, IN, and Max Beatty of Kokomo; four daughters, Genevieve Cody, Alberta Glassburn and Viola Molock, all of Kokomo, and Marie Harmon of Fort Walton Beach FL; four brothers, Elston McAninch of Fort Meyers, FL, Kenneth McAninch of Burnettsville, Vestel McAninch of Greentown and Roy McAninch of Bringhurst; 41 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Everette Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Calling at Ellers Mortuary, 114 W. Harrison St. entrancee, will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday and at the church an hour prior to services.
