Marvel M. Richey, 73, Kokomo, died in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital at 10:40 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17, 1981. Born in Howard County on Oct. 4, 1907, she was the daughter of
Benjamin and Lorena (Johnson) McAninch. She was married to Earl E. Richey, who preceded her in death in 1965.
Survivors include a daughter; three sons; four brothers including Roy McAninch of Bringhurst; a sister, seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A son, a brother and a grandchild preceded her in death.
Services were held Thursday afternoon at Ellers Mortuary with Sheridan Wagner officiating. Burial was held in Crown Point Cemetery.
