23 Mar 1942: Mrs. Malinda Fake, nee Kohr, wife of Levi S. Fake, of 132 North Harrision Street, Palmyra, died at 12:30 o'clock on Sunday noon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Harry C. Brown, of 132 North Harrision Street, Palmyra. Death was caused by chronic myocarditis. She was aged 76 years & was a member of the Palmyra Evangelical Church and Sunday School. She is survived by her husband, and seven children: Mrs. Edgar L. Barr of Reinohlsville; Frank E. Fake of Elizabethtown; Edwin H. Fake of Palmyra; Mrs. Harry C. Brown of Palmyra; Arthur of Philadelphia; Mrs. John Bensinger of Palmyra; and Mrs. Chester Sherman of Lebanon; twenty eight grandchildren; thirteeen great-grandchildren; & brother John Kohr of Lebanon. Interment to be in the Gravel Hill Church Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
