Betty Jean Golden, loving wife and mother went to the arms of Jesus on February 18, 2005. Daughter of Jessie and George Hunter. Born May 10, 1933, Sooner born and Sooner bred, Central High School Class of 1952, retired from Presbyterian Hospital.

Survived by loving husband George R. Golden Jr. and son Russell E. Golden and his wife Marilyn. Known as Grandma Betty to the children she loved. She was a devoted member of Oklahoma City First United Methodist Church: choir member and nursery attendant. Other activities: Swinging Rebels Square Dance Club and Walk to Emmaus. Interment was at Rose Hill. Memorials to American Heart Association.
