Donna Rose (Groak) Carr-Visintainer, 62, of Rock Springs, died Saturday, September 6, 1986, at her home. A resident of Rock Springs since 1929 and former resident of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Donna died following a lengthy illness. She was born in Littleton, Colorado, on August 4, 1924, the daughter of the late Gladys Rose (Wheaton) and Thomas Groark.
She attended schools in Rock Springs, WY, and was a graduate of Rock Springs High School. She married John T. Carr in Rock Springs in 1945. He preceded her in death February 12, 1973. She later married Silver Visintainer in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1974.
Survivors include her husband, Silver, of Rock Springs; two sons, John T. Carr Jr. of Palestine, TX and Thomas R. Carr of Rock Springs, WY; four brothers: Erwin Groark of Rock Springs, WY; William Undem of Santa Cruz, CA; Jack Undem of Evanston and Clarence Undem of Sipsey, AL.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and first husband, John Terrance Carr, Donna was preceded in death by a twin brother who died in infancy.
Pallbearers were: Ronald Gunyan Jr., Carl Vigil, Donald Vigil, Floyd Tate, Ronald McQueen and Cal Gandy.
