Lloyd L. Grissom of Orleans, IN, died Sunday, September 30, 2001, at Mitchell Manor Nursing & Rehab Center. Born on August 2, 1938, in Mitchell, IN, he was the son of Opal M. and Inice (Johnson) Grissom. He married Linda H. Cassidy on August 4, 1962, and she survives.

Surviving with his wife are are two sons, Lloyd E. Grissom of Orleans, IN, and Bobby Dale Grissom of Mitchell, IN; three daughters, Tina Marie Sayre, Tammy Lee Wells, and Angela Lynn Grissom, all of of Orleans, IN; three sisters, Catherine Pridemore and Wanda Pridemore, both of Mitchell, IN, and Ruth Roberts of Florida; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: James Grissom, Opal Grissom Jr., Herbert Grissom, Bobby Dean Grissom, and Carl Grissom; and three sisters, Pauline Hardin, Elsie Leatherman, and Loretta Grissom.

He was retired from Carpenter Body Works and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Services for Lloyd Grissom will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3rd, at Haverly Mortuary with Bro. Lee Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
