MITCHELL – Catherine P. Pridemore, 80, passed away at 10:39 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born November 27, 1932, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Opal and Inice (Johnson) Grissom. She married John Pridemore July 1, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She retired from RCA and volunteered at the Mitchell Public Library.

Surviving are her children, John (Janet) Pridemore, Mitchell. Robert Eugene (Pam) Pridemore, Taswell, Paul LaVerne Pridemore, Mitchell, Cathy (Charles) Lewis, Bedford, Rebecca (Marty) Dotts,Mitchell, Danny Joe Pridemore, Mitchell, Brian (Joni) Pridemore, Orleans, Anita (Andy) Miller, Franklin, daughter-in-law, Vicky Pridemore, Mitchell, 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and sister, Wanda Pridemore, Mitchell

Her parents; husband; son, Carl Douglas Pridemore; and siblings, Opal Grissom, Jr., Herbert Grissom, Lloyd Grissom, Jimmy Grissom, Bobby Grissom, Carl Grissom, Pauline Hardin, Ruth Roberts, and Elsie Leatherman, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Haverly Chapel Funeral & Cremation. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until the service on Wednesday at the chapel.

Funeral Service Wednesday, January 23rd @ 1:00 pm at Haverly Chapel. Visitation will be at Haverly Chapel on Tuesday, January 22nd @4:00pm-7:00pm and Wednesday, January 23rd @ 12:00 pm to the 1:00pm Funeral Service. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery
