The remains were prepared for burial at the Haverly mortuary in Mitchell and lay in state there.
Funeral services were held at the Haverly Chapel at 2:30 this afternoon with Rev. Otte Duncan, pastor of the Englewood Baptist Church officiating.
Burial followed in the Mitchell cemetery.
Survivors, besides the parents are six brothers and five sisters.
