She was born Feb. 9, 1887 in Burning Wells, Penn. and moved to Taft in 1912. She was a charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was also a member of the United Presbyterian Church. She worked for 45 years as a bookkeeper and office manager for Virginia Pipeline. Her husband Casey preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons Jim and William; nine grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
