"Mrs. Lena May Siets, 76, of Little Falls, died Monday, Nov. 19 at Little Falls Hospital. Mrs Siets was born June 10, 1914 in the Town of Charleston, the daughter of Herbert and Estella Perue Gordon. She attended school in the town of Charleston. She was married to Foster Siets in 1940 in Sprakers. He died in March of 1979. Mrs. Siets had been employed with Beech-Nut in Canajoharie, retiring in 1972. She would later work for Allegro Shoe Corp in Little Falls.
Survivors include four daughters, Josephine Beacraft of Little Falls, June Jones of Little Falls, Mary Elen Johnson of Brookfield and Harriet Euler of Sharon Springs; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Konchar-Enea & Shepardson Funeral Home. Burial was in Sloansville Valley Cemetery."
