Frank B. Condon, a native of Taylorsville, died from a bullet wound
Friday night, January 29, 1943, in front of his home, near Reisterstown.
The medical examiner said he shot himself with a .22 caliber rifle while
seated in his automobile. Death was instantaneous, the report stated.
His wife, Mrs. Grace M. Condon, who said her husband had been despondent recently, found her husband's body after hearing the report of the rifle.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two young children, Frank H. and
Sandra J. Condon, at home.
A son of Burgess and the late Anna Condon, of Taylorsville, he is also
survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Burgess Condon, Taylorsville; three
brothers, Ralph, Rockdale; James, Randallstown, and Hearl, Taylorsville; also a half-sister, Miss Ruth Condon, Taylorsville.
Funeral services were held Monday, leaving the late residence at 1.30
o'clock, with final services in the Taylorsville Methodist church at 2.30
o'clock, in charge of the Rev. J. Howard Link. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. C. M. Waltz, funeral director.
