Mr. Hearl Condon
Mr. Hearl M. Condon, 85, of Taylorsville, died Monday, April 17, at Carroll County General Hospital, Westminster.
He was the husband of Lurena Garber Condon.
Born Nov. 4, 1914, in Taylorsville, he was a son of the late Upton Burgess and Amelia Barnes Condon.
Mr. Condon was a member of Taylorsville United Methodist Church, Taylorsville, and the carpenters union. He was a farmer and also worked in construction as a foreman in Washington.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Hearl G. Condon of Ocean Pines, and Charles B. Condon of Mount Airy; one brother, James Condon of Deep Creek; one half sister, Ruth Shaw of Taylorsville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, at the funeral home, with the Rev. O.F. Kibbe, of Taylorsville United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Taylorsville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
