Marie, 71, 1006 Clover Lane, Celina, died at 12:20 p.m., at St. Rita's Medical Center.


She was born to Ferd and Viola (Berning) Bruns. On Sept. 27, 1987, she married William Hornberger, who survives.


Also surviving are three sons, Wayne (Deb) Everman, Joliet, IL, and Jeffrey (Mary) and Larry Everman, all Illinois; four brothers, Robert (Martha), Rockford, Mike, Michigan, William, Decatur, IN, and Tom, Wapakoneta; six sisters, Darlene Thees, Vicki Giere and Millie (Paul) Donovan, all Celina, Thelma (Carl) Grilliot, Florida, Wilma (Dale) Quellhorst, St. Marys, and Clara Beougher, Rockford; four grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.


Deceased is a son, Norbert Everman; two brothers, John and Don Bruns; and three sisters, Martha Young, Ruth McMahan and Helen Pearson.


She was retired from Overton Gear of Illinois. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 210 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 5713, both of Celina.
