Wilma was a selfless caregiver, whether it be to family or a random stranger she met while making visits to the nursing home. Her life revolved around looking after others. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards with her friends and traveling. Her kindness, generosity, and witty sense of humor left a legacy that will eternally live in all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by: husband, Dale Quellhorst; her sons: Anthony and Keith Quellhorst; by her grandchildren: Jennifer Quellhorst/Grisgby, Trevor Quellhorst, Jessica Quellhorst, and Kelsey Quellhorst/Grieshop; by her great-grandchildren: Kinzley Grieshop and Killian Grigsby. She is also survived by her brothers: Robert Bruns, Michael Bruns, and Thomas Bruns; by her sisters: Thelma Grilliot, Clara Beougher, Mildred Donovan, and Victoria Giere; by her brothers-in-law: Carl Grilliot and Larry Giere; by her In laws: Roland and Beverly Kettler and Ruth and Art Hiler; and by her best friend, Judy Waesch.
She was preceded in death by brothers: John Bruns, William Bruns, and Donald Bruns; by her sisters: Ruth Ann McMahan, Helen Pierson, Marie Hornberger, Martha Bruns and Darlene Thees.
Funeral rites will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Becky Erb Strang and Deacon Martin Brown, officiants. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
