Laura Gallop, age 64, passed away at Avera McKennan Hospital November 25, 2007, following a long battle with cancer.
Laura Jean was born on August 12, 1943, in Luverne, MN, to John and Alma (Eisenmann) Brown. She grew up in Vermillion and Sioux Falls, SD, where she attended public schools.
Laura married Arthur Brown in Sioux Falls, SD, in 1961. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls.

She was united in marriage to Jerry Gallop on December 27, 1991, in Sioux Falls. Laura worked at Shop n' Cart for over 20 years, until a store robbery occurred leaving Laura disabled. Throughout the years, she enjoyed seeing and visiting with all her Shop n' Cart "family".

Laura enjoyed going for rides in the car and watching the deer and other wildlife, and also enjoyed the outdoors. In her free-time, she liked playing Bingo. More than anything, Laura deeply cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; sister, Audrey; brother, Walter; and grandson, Matthew.
