Ada May Brown, 92, R1 Sullivan dies at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb 8, 1994, at Mary Sherman Hospital, Sullivan.
She was born Oct. 6, 1901 in Sullivan County to William and Barbara Clark Parks. She was a member of the Sullivan First Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Frances Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Brown Sr; three sons, Ralph Brown, Ticonderoga, N.Y., Jim Brown, Lakeview Washington., and Richard Brown Jr., Sullivan; five daughters, Dorothy Dillingham, Bloomington, Shirley Moore, LaPorte, Jo Engle, Elkhart, and Barbara Carty and Linda Deckard , both of Sullivan; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the Alexander Funeral Home with the Rev. David Cox and the Rev. John Pierce officiating. Burial is in Center Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. till the time of service Friday.
