Mrs. Brattin was born May 18, 1908, in Stone County and moved to Seneca about 40 years ago. She had worked for 17 years as a cook at Seneca schools. She was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ.
She married Roy Eugene Brattin in 1926. He died in January, 1969.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Brattin, Seneca, Ruby Pozniak, Purdy, Mary Ann Crocker, Grove, OK and Shirley Gudd, Warrensburg; two sisters, Glenn Richter, Exeter, and Vivian Hayworth, Oroville, WA; 29 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday at the Seneca Church of Christ, with Bob Hampton officiating.
Burial in Concord Cemetery, near Wheaton with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
