Annabelle Bish, 85, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at North Bay Medical Center.
Annabelle was born May 13, 1930 in Adrian PA., to Clifford and Cora (Wyant) Bowser. She was the third of seven children. On September 22, 1956 she was united in marriage to Nelson Ray Bish in Kittanning, PA.
Being a military wife, Annabelle spent much time making various places a loving home for her family, whether in Boston, Massachusetts; London, England; Sacramento, California; New Delhi, India and finally a permanent home in Fairfield, California.
Annabelle was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She served her Lord through her church and the way she lived her life. She was an avid reader and enjoyed competitive games of Scrabble with her closest friends.
Annabelle is survived by her children, Michael (Lucy Adams) and Jeffrey (Carolyn) Bish; grandchildren Logan and Olivia Bish and Charlie Adams; siblings, Rhoda (Bowser) Bish, Barbara (Bowser) Framke, Nancy (Bowser) Jakubec and Donald Bowser. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings Jannette and Robert Bowser and husband, Nelson Bish.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 23, 2016 at the Community United Methodist Church in Fairfield. Followed by a committal service at 1:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. A reception will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church.
