Edna Fay “Patty “ Blanton, 69, Paintsville, died Thursday, April 19, at her residence. Born June 28, 1942, at Riceville, she was the daughter of the late Hebern and Mary Blair Scott. Survivors include her husband, Chester Blanton, married 14 Dec 1957; three sons, Tony Blanton of Greenrock, Casey Blanton, of Paintsville, and Terry Blanton of Martin; two daughters, Nadene Nelson of Dickson, Tenn., and Debbie Blanton of North Manchester, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, April 22, at Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Roger Hill officiating.
