She was born on June 16, 1954, in Sheboygan, a daughter of John P. and Betty R. (Rasmussen) Rusch. She attended and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. She married Gary F. Baumann on July 20, 1974 in Oshkosh.
She had worked as a CNA for over 16 years at Park View Health Care Center. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Kathy greatly enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, the Green Bay Packers and the love of her grandson, Kyle.
Survivors include her husband, Gary of Oshkosh; a daughter, Andrea Baumann (fiance Todd Elef-son) of Oshkosh; two sons, Gary F. (Mandy) Baumann II of Menasha and Matthew (Mary) Baumann of Oshkosh; a grandson, Kyle Baumann; her parents, John P. and Betty R. Rusch of Sheboygan; and a brother, Daniel Rusch of Sheboygan. She is further survived by other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jane Ann.
Funeral services for Kathy will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. at the Seefeld Funeral Chapel, 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh, with the Rev. Steven Powers officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund is being established.
