Jessie Carl Adams, 65, died at 11:47 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 1989, in his home.

Funeral services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Amarillo, he had been a Borger resident since 1950. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Celestine of the home; one son, Charlie Richard Walker of the home; three brothers, Charlie Richard Adams of Dallas; Prentice Adams and George Adams, both of Borger; two sisters, Ollie Mae Turnage of Colorado City; and Pearl Turnage of Borger; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Jessie Carl Adams will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
