Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Devotion at Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Adams was born in Detroit, Texas. He moved from Paris, Texas, to Borger in 1950. He was a heavy-equipment operator for Tri-State.
He married Mildred Hammons in 1955 at Clayton, N.M.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Prentis D. Adams of Sanford; two daughters, Brenda Adams and Teresa Wilson, both of Borger; two brothers, Charlie Adams of Dallas and George Adams of Borger; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Leukemia Association.
