William Lee Adams, 38, of Cleveland, Route 3, World War II Veteran, died in an Atlanta hospital Monday after six weeks of illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Delsie Adams; two sons, Norman Lee, and William Preston; and one daughter, Gladys Mae, all of Cleveland; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Adams, Archville, Tenn.; three brothers, Charlie and Donald, of Chattanooga and Emmitt of Archville; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Jones, Gordo, Ala.; and Mrs. John Ammons, Englewood, Tenn.
He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Monroe County.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at ten o’clock at Clingans Ridge Baptist Church on the Georgetown Road with the Revs. M. L. Howard and Jack Crye officiating.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
The body will arrive late tonight and will be at the home on Georgetown Pike.
