Clara Adams

Services for Mrs. Clara Adams, 80, 201 Elmwood, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Penwell-Gabel Chapel with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. She died Friday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Adams was the mother of Mrs. Larry Miller, wife of the general manager of the Kansas Press Assn. She was born April 9, 1883 in Circleville and lived in Topeka most of her life.
She was a member of the Potwin Presbyterian Church and Beulah Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Her husband, Charles H. Adams, died in December 1954.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Larry Miller, 2519 E. 37th, and Mrs. J.D. Green, Roca, Neb.; four grandsons, and four sisters, Miss Lou Hubbard and Mrs. C.H. Dunning, both of 201 Elmwood, and Miss Bertha Hubbard and Miss Zella Hubbard, both of 134 S. Kendall.
