Mrs. Miller Is Dead at 57, Rites Monday
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Mrs. Marjorie Miller, 57, 2249 S.E. 37th, who died Friday in a Topeka hospital where she had been a patient since March 25. She suffered a hemorrhage near the brain.
She was the wife of Larry Miller, general manager of the Kansas Press Assn.
She was born Jan. 19, 1912, in Topeka where she spent most of her life except for several years spent at Belmond and Forest City, Iowa, and Murfreesboro, Tenn., where her husband operated newspapers.
She attended Topeka public school and was graduated from Baker University at baldwin in 1934. She was a member of First Congregational Church.
She and her husband were married April 25, 1936, in Topeka.
Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Larry E. Miller, West Point, Neb., and Capt. David L. Miller, San Antonio, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Barbara J. Green, Lincoln, Neb., and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
