The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Monday, January 25, 1938, pg 13:
A state resident since 1900, Mrs Betty Elizabeth Rollins, 79, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs W. N. Noland, 2404 SW 13th St. Mrs Rollins, who had been in poor health several months, died after a serious illness of a week. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. She moved from Kentucky to Bryan County in 1900 and came here 12 years ago. Arrangements will be made at Capitol Hill Funeral Home. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two other daughters, Mrs Ben Ivey, Englewood, Calif., and Mrs Harry Hazlett, Gunnison, Colo.; and a son, C. R. Rollins, Hillsboro, TX.
