Joseph H. Enama, 88, of East Chestnut Street, Hazleton, died Saturday [Feb. 25, 1995] at home. Born in Beaver Meadows, he was the son of the late Lewis and Dominica (Zambiasi) Enama. He worked in the local coal industry and was last employed by Dorr Oliver for 17 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Caramel Church, Hazleton, as well as its Holy Name Society and the Our Lady of Mount Caramel Tyrolean Club. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Yannes and Virginia Fellin; brothers, Lewis, Leo, William and Herman. Surviving are his wife, the former Bertha Skernolis; sons, Joseph R., Mucungie; Lawrence J., Hazleton; Mrs. David (Margaret) Zoscin, Blakeslee; brothers, John and Henry, both of Hazleton; Arthur, Tresckow; Francis, Levittown; Leonard, Drums; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home, 542-544 North Wyoming St., Hazleton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Caramel Church, Hazleton. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Hazleton.
