Hazleton Standard Speaker; Wednesday, January 17, 1968:
Louis Enama, Sr., 38 Chestnut St., Seymour, Conn., former Hazleton resident, died Monday at 8:30 p.m. at Griffith Hospital, Derby, Conn. Born in [*Beaver Meadows], he had resided in Hazleton for sometime before locating with his son, Louis, 10 years ago in Seymour. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine, two brothers, Herman and William, and a sister, Mrs. Virginia Fellin. Surviving in addition to his son, Louis, Jr., with whom he resided; are his mother, Mrs. Mamie Enama, Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem; three grandchildren and these brothers and sisters, John and Joseph, this city; Roman, Berwick; Henry, Fairfield, Conn.; Arthur, Tresckow; Francis, Croydon; Leonard, Levittown; Mrs. Mary Yannes, this city. The funeral will be held Friday 9 a.m. from the Jupina Funeral Home, McAdoo. Services and high mass of requiem will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. Thursday.

*Note: Although the obituary gives his place of birth as Beaver Meadows, he was born in the Val di Non, Trentino, Italy (which was in 1900 considered part of Austria). His baptism record is as follows:
