Oak Grove, LA LAKE PROVIDENCE, LA -Hazel Valli French, 87, of Lake Providence, LA was born August 4, 1914 and died January January 15, 2002 at St. Francis Medical Medical Center, Monroe, LA. She married the late Carl Arthur French, and her parents are the late Valley Harrison Ainsworth and the late Mary Emmaline Goldman Ainsworth, She is survived by her , daughters, Mary Jean Knight and husband Jimmy Knight of Lake Providence, LA, Carleen Minsky and husband Reynold Minsky of Lake Providence, Evelyn Sibille and husband Curt Sibille of Madison, MS, Kathy Neal and husband Robert Neal of West Monroe, LA, and Brenda Heflin and husband Bob Heflin of West Monroe; son, Dr. Carl Michael French and wife Dr. Nona French of Conway, AR; son-in-law, Lee Broussard of Lake Providence; sisters, Bethel Trawick of Rusk, TX and Jewel Vernae Dennison of Gulf-port, Gulf-port, Gulf-port, MS; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. . She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Arthur French fand her daughters, Imogene French and Normaj Broussard. Pallbearers will be Rick Knight, Stuart Heflin, Michael Heflin, Austin French, David Brown, Randy Walters, Pete Kammer, and Ted Schneider. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Howard, Michael Brown, Charles Brown, Larry Knight, Alvin Minsky, Fred Schneider, Dale Rinicker, and Jack Kiefer. Visitation will be from 5PM until 8PM Wednesday and from 9AM until 11AM Thursday at Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence. Services will be at First Baptist Baptist Church, Lake Providence, LA Thursday, January 17, 2002 at 3PM with Rev. Jimmy Ket-tleman,, Dr. James Parker, and Rev. Ken Frazier officiating. Interment Interment will be at Providence Memorial Cemetery, Lake Providence.
