Bethel "Granny" Trawick
MAYDELLE — Funeral services for Bethel "Granny" Trawick, age 92, of Maydelle are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Ernest Higginbotham and Hardie Ingram officiating.
Interment will be at Cloverhill Cemetery in Quitman.
Mrs. Trawick passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Maydelle.
She was born March 14, 1921 in Laurel, Mississippi to Valley and Emma Ainsworth.
Bethel was a member of the Assembly of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Y.I. Trawick; son, Eugene Trawick; daughter, Juriellene Marshall; brothers, Lee and Russel Ainsworth; sisters, Mary Lou Wilkerson and Hazel French; grandchildren, Carolyn Crane and Sheryl Trawick.
Survivors include her son, Gene Trawick and wife Marie of Maydelle; daughters, Lavene Crane and husband Harold of Grand Prairie, Marvalene Henderson of Maydelle, Marlene Ingram and husband Marlin of Quitman; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dale Scogin, Allen Lee Scogin, Bobby Lynn Feagin, William Warlick, Shannon Ingram, and Michael Gene Trawick.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 with family receiving friends from 5-7p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
