Edwin D. Lawlor of 1355 Chestnut Av. in Wilmette died Feb. 26 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Mr. Lawlor, 92, was active until his death in his Chicago law firm of Lawlor and Kerns. He had been a lawyer for 68 years. He was graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1907 and becan his career in Chicago in 1908. After 50 years of practice he was named senior counselor in the Illinois Bar Assn. Mr. Lawlor served as attorney for 68 years of the Cook County Truck Gardeners and Farmers Assn. He was the founder of the Northern Illinois Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. in Arlington Heights. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Sullivan of Glenview and Genevieve Kerns of Wilmette; a son, Edwin D. Jr. of Barrington; and 16 grandchildren. A funeral Mass was said Feb. 28 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Wilmette. Burial was at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
