Hyrum Dixon Lee, 83 of Gooding, died Thursday morning at the Gooding County Hospital of a long illness. Born June 15, 1894, at Freedom, Wyo., he moved with his family to Idaho in 1900, settling atHagerman. He married Florence Adams April 5,1916, at the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City. He farmed at Fairfield and Gooding until 1977 when he became ill. He was a member of the Mormon Church, the High Priest Quorum and has been active in Boy Scouting and hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Florence, of Gooding; two daughters, Donna Behunin of Gooding and Ilene Miller of Bliss; one son Dal Lee of Prairie City, Ore., one nephew and two nieces; two sisters, Essie Borup of Emmett and Meta Stewart of Orchard; one brother, Roy Lee of Emmett; 22 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Gooding Mormon Church
with Bishop Ray Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Thompson Chapel Sunday afternoon and evening until 8 p.m. and from noon until the time of service at the church Monday. The Family
requests memorials to the heart fund or the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
