EMMETT — Services for Roy D. Lee, 78, Emmett, who died Tuesday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Potter Funeral, Chapel, Emmett, by Bishop C. James Spencer, Emmett 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment will be in Emmett Cemetery.
He was born March 15, 1901, at Fur Grove. He moved to Emmett in 1922, where he worked at the Boise Cascade Lumber Mill. He married Bessie Hunt on July 15, 1921, at Fairfield. She died July 26, 1959. He married Mildred Ellsworth on Oct. 24, 1959, at Winnemucca, Nev. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his wife of Emmett; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Swander of Emmett; a stepson, Don Ellsworth of Emmett; two stepdaughters, Sharon Pully of San Diego and Deanna Wallace of Emmett; two sisters, Essie Borup of Emmett and Metta Stewart of Orchard; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
