Ira C. Fuller was born in Winslow Township,near Reynoldsville; a son of John & Rebecca Fuller,who were known to be among the very first settlers in that area.
He was first employed at lumbering and was one of the prominent oil producers during that industry's earliest stages of development and coal mining. He was later in life,a photographer.
He traveled the world and the United States during his early years and settled in Brookville where he established himself in the banking business and later in the flour milling industry.
He was the first to introduce into this section of the country the Roller Process System for making flour.
He built and was the sole owner of the mill,located in that part of Brookville known as Longview.
He was married twice;his first wife being Ann Ellen Fryer.
They were the parents of these children:
Samuel J.,who went west;
Ira Joseph, of Texas;
and Mrs. A.A. Adams of Los Angeles,California.
His second wife was Lottie W. Steinbrook.
This union produced one child,
Marcus P. Fuller, a resident of Fellows,California.
Lottie was the daughter of George Frederick & Agnes Belle Hulings Steinbrook,who was born in Meadville,Crawford County,Pennsylvania and the son of
Joseph Steinbrook,who was born in Germany.

"Ira C. Fuller for many years one of the prominent citizens of Brookville, died on Monday evening of last week after an illness of two years, caused mostly by old age. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W. S. Fulton on Wednesday afternoon with burial in the Brookville cemetery.
Ira C. Fuller was born in Winslow Township, near Reynoldsville, Jan. 20, 1828 and was a son of John and Rebecca Fuller who were among the first settlers in that section. The deceased was twice married his first marriage being to Miss Ann Ellen Fye to whom two sons and one daughter were born. The second marriage of the deceased was to Lottie Steinbrook, who survives him and to whom one son was born. The business career of the deceased was a wide as well as a remarkable one. He retired from active business interests some eight or ten years ago."
