Mrs Alex J Lasko, Sr, 46, Poughkeepsie, died Oct 12 at her home. She was the mother of Steve Lasko of Amenia. The former Eleanor M Shook, she was born in Stanfordville Sept 23, 1926, daughter of Virgil & Pearl Wurster Shook. She moved to Poughkeepsie 21 years ago. Survived by her son in Amenia; daughter Mrs. Debbie Knapp, Poughkeepsie; son Alex Jr, Clinton Corners; five sisters, Mrs. Malone Elsbree and Mrs. Joyce Homan, both of Stanfordville; Mrs. Elizabeth Haviland and Mrs. Edward Heiser, both of Pine Plains; Mrs. Amy Winchell, Hyde Park; four brothers, Virgil, Ben & Arthur, all of Stanfordville; Ray, Fishkill; four grandchildren.
